WEDDING BLISS

We had a very busy month!  The first weekend was filled with travels, pedicures, and pretty dresses!  Auntie Miranda was getting married and Mommy was Co-Maid of Honor with Auntie Meghan!  Man we had a busy job!  Madi & Hannah were the prettiest flower girls anyone has ever seen!

Madisen took her job very seriously!  She was made a very beautiful princess!  On a funny note...Madi did get a "wedgie" in the middle of the ceremony...and of course had to "pick-it" in front of everyone!  Oh only my girl!  Of course Hannah had a hard time sitting still, but she did made her walk down the isle!  We had a great weekend catching up with family and friends!  Miranda & Derrick make a beautiful couple!

NEW TO US...CAMPER

The next weekend we turned in our dresses for camping gear! We bought a camper with Papo & Nini... she was an old piece of gear but we were exited!  That night we bundled up and got ready to camp in our backyard!

FISHING AND BIKE RIDING FUN

SUMMER IS HERE!  An eveving stroll in the park with a little bit of fishing was on the schedule!  Madi is getting great at riding her bike with training wheels.  And Miss Hannah got a new trike that we could push so she could cruise like her sister!  After their bike ride it was time to splash around in the river and play in the sand!

FIRST CAMPING TRIP
We got all packed up at the end of June and went for a family camping trip!

Mommy & Daddy found the perfect spot!  The very last camping spot down East Fork... It took a long time to get there!  Once we set up camp it was time to play!  The girls and the dogs had a great time playing in the stream and running free!  That night Madi & Hannah cooked smores and ate them all up!

The next day Madi & Hannah were ready to get up early and play!  The water was perfect and the mud was even better! 

Our next stop was Silver Falls... Madi & Hannah did great hiking up to the falls!  We had a great weekend with our girls enjoying God's Beautiful Country!

MOTHER'S DAY

For Mother's Day my girls let me dress them up for a couple of spring photos.  They were ready to get out and play in the grass this spring!

 

HORSE RIDES

Madi and Hannah got to ride horses!  Uncle Myron took his horses out to Grammy & Graddy's House for the day.  Madisen thinks she is a true cowgirl and was ready to saddle up!  And NO!  We are not getting a pony!

 

DISK GOLF- MEMORIAL WEEKEND

Memorial weekend was very enjoyable when we all got together and hiked up Resivor Hill to play disk golf!  The girls had a blast running through the trees and playing in the dirt with their little friends!

 



Sweet SiStErS!

Have I said how much I LOVE these little girls?!

Madi has been having a hard time in her "Big Girl Bed" so we took her twin bed downstairs and brought her toddler bed back up... This did help!  Thank God... But then Hannah decided that it was time for her BIG GIRL BED!  So we transformed her crib into her Toddler Bed.  My girls are growing up right before our eyes!  They do so good when it is bedtime.... Story time.... drink of water.... Prayers "Dear Jesus, thank you for Mommy & Daddy...Hannah & Madi...." (Melts my heart everynight!!!)... then lights out.

I went back into their room to check on them before we went to bed and this was the sight that I found!  So sweet!  They cuddled up together and crashed out!

One DAY Vaca

We had a weekend off and decided not to work on our list of projects around the house... We went to Durango for the day to play!  After a nice picnic in the park with Serious Texas BBQ we took a walk over to the Fish Hatchery... on the way over we saw a Mother Goose and BABY Goslings!  It was so neat!

Poor Madi fell down and skinned her knee in the process... Poor girl.  A sweet old man was there to help, he had bandaids that made it ALL better!  Then we were ready to go!  Once we arrived at the Hatchery we fed TONS of fish!  Madi though that was pretty neat!

After feeding fishies... we headed over to the Rec Center in Durango.  

Bedtime....No way!

We love our DADDY!  Hannah and Madi will do anything in their power to push bedtime back as long as they can!  Tonight they decided that if they just loved on their Daddy he would give in.... Silly girls!

They are too cute!  Hannah put her Tutu on and started to prance around....

Backyard Construction

Our backyard is 50% it DONE (now on to the deck...)!  

What a blessing that we had the chance to get our girls a PLAY YARD and TRAMPOLINE!  Unfortunately we have been sooo busy we have not really had the chance to enjoy it!  I can't wait to have get together's and birthday party's in our backyard...!

Birthday in Heaven

Happy Birthday Papa Joe....We miss you!

  It is very hard for us to celebrate a birthday in Heaven.... So we decided to have a party here for Papa Joe instead!  Complete with BBQ, Balloon, & Cake.... My Papa Joe LOVED his BIRTHDAY... it was always a celebration when our entire family would get together...  This year we did, it was amazing!  The girls had so much fun planning Papa's Party.  It was very sweet to hear them talk about him like he was here.  It brings tears to my eyes because I wish they could have known him.  He was a very special person to me.  I was always by my Pappy's side growing up and I can't wait until we get to heaven to visit once again!

Madi & Hannah sent Papa Joe his balloons to Heaven.... It was so much fun.  They got so excited and away  they went.  We watched them until they disappeared into the sky... "They made it to him Mama!"  So sweet!

 

CAKE TIME!  Madisen picked out Grandma Lillie's Favorite Cake...Cheesecake it was!  We sang Papa Joe Happy Birthday and dug in... It was kind of like old times again...Fun family night that we will surely have to turn into a tradition in Memory of Papa Joe!
