Madisen - 3 Years Old

I can not believe my little girl is not a baby anymore!  She has grown up before our eyes!  This last year was full of new experiences...a New Baby Sister was huge for Madi!  She is wonderful with Hannah they are best buddies!  I can't wait for their friendship to blossom as they get older! 



Madisen is talking up a storm...her vocabulary is amazing!  She absorbs everything she hears and sees and then repeats it...yikes!
Madisen is a 100% BIG GIRL now!  She has been going Potty for several months...but did not want to make her PooPoo's (sorry...)  It took a while for her to get it but now she is amazing!  No accidents...we just needed to stop pushing her too hard...it was her decision when she turned 3!  She is sleeping through the night in her big girl panties!  We are so proud of her!  Plus is it great saving money on Pull-ups!

Madi has a new big girl bed that she is pretty good about sleeping in...complete with Repunzel Bedding.  She is pretty proud!  She insists on sleeping surrounded by her 20+ toys every night.
Madi is getting so good about praying every night before bed... She prays for "Mommy & Daddy & Hannah...& Madi (silly girl)...Papo & Nini, Grammy & Graddy...Grandma Joyce...Grandma Lillie...MawMaw...Papa Larry...my cousins...and EVERYONE I Love!"  It is the cutest thing ever!  Most night she will add in a couple more people...plus she prays for Clifford the Big Red Dog...  I love this little girl!

Madi loves books!  She enjoys reading to herself and to her baby sister.  Madi also loves to sing!  She will sing just about anything...and she makes up a few songs along the way.  Her favorite is Veggie Tales!
Madisen knows all of her ABC's and can count to about 20 in English and Spanish!  Pretty good!  She know her colors and shapes!  Madi knows her full name...and knows she lives in Pagosa Peak...I mean Pagosa Springs...  She loves to give us driving directions..."not that way Daddy...go Right!"
One smart little girl...she thinks she is ready for school!

To sum it up!  Madi is a bright. Happy three year old!  She brightens our days...and her sweet smile can make you smile when you are down!  We love you Madisen Kenidee!  Can't wait to see what this year brings!
