Backyard Construction

Our backyard is 50% it DONE (now on to the deck...)!

What a blessing that we had the chance to get our girls a PLAY YARD and TRAMPOLINE!  Unfortunately we have been sooo busy we have not really had the chance to enjoy it!  I can't wait to have get together's and birthday party's in our backyard...!

Birthday in Heaven

Happy Birthday Papa Joe....We miss you!
It is very hard for us to celebrate a birthday in Heaven.... So we decided to have a party here for Papa Joe instead!  Complete with BBQ, Balloon, & Cake.... My Papa Joe LOVED his BIRTHDAY... it was always a celebration when our entire family would get together...  This year we did, it was amazing!  The girls had so much fun planning Papa's Party.  It was very sweet to hear them talk about him like he was here.  It brings tears to my eyes because I wish they could have known him.  He was a very special person to me.  I was always by my Pappy's side growing up and I can't wait until we get to heaven to visit once again!

Madi & Hannah sent Papa Joe his balloons to Heaven.... It was so much fun.  They got so excited and away  they went.  We watched them until they disappeared into the sky... "They made it to him Mama!"  So sweet!

CAKE TIME!  Madisen picked out Grandma Lillie's Favorite Cake...Cheesecake it was!  We sang Papa Joe Happy Birthday and dug in... It was kind of like old times again...Fun family night that we will surely have to turn into a tradition in Memory of Papa Joe!

A Day at the Children's Museum

We took a trip to Denver for Mother's Day weekend.... The girls and I decided to go play for the day at the Children's Museum in Denver!  We have been here before but Hannah was too tiny to enjoy it!  The girls had a blast playing...it was a great setting to just sit relax and let them play!

First Stop:  Madi's Pizza Parlor! (Hannah's too...but Madi claimed it...)

Next STOP..... BUBBLES!
Madi remembered this place from last time!  She slipped on her Lab Coat, helped her little sister into her's and they were off!  Splishing and Splashing in Bubbles Galore!

Hannah was very interested in the bubbles coming out of the ceiling....
FUN!  Big Bubbles....Little Bubbles!
Madi got the hang of all of the stations... Hannah was still pretty interested in the ceiling....
Madisen learned how to make a JUMBO BUBBLE!  Highlight of the day!

Next Stop..... Enchanted Forrest.  The girls got to dress up as adorable forest creatures and play!
How Adorable is this!

Next Stop...Hardware/Building... We tried but with out Daddy...we really don't know how to build anything!
But we looked cute trying!

Next Stop..... PAINTING!
Hannah's Very FIRST time finger painting... and we created a creative monster!  Finger paints everywhere!

Next Stop.... DANCE!  Hannah loved the tap shoes.... Clickity Clack.....
I love her little side hip move!

NOW.... for my most favorite stop at the CHILDREN's MUSEUM......

It's Tradition!

My Aunt Susie has always made an Easter Bunny Cake for Easter Sunday... I can remember this bunny every year since I was a little girl!  Even though all of the "kids" are grown up...she was very sweet and she makes them anyways!  The girls loved it!  She made it special.... Pink this year!  Madi & Hannah had the privilege of eating the first piece!
Gotta Love Family Traditions!  That's how memories are made!
Seriously can't believe my kids are eating the cake like this!  There is NO WAY we would have gotten away with this when we were little!
YUMMY!

Thanks Aunt Susie!
